Solid Roof Conservatories

Whether your ideal home extension is an all glazed Conservatory or a solid roof Garden Room Stevenswood Conservatories are pleased to help.

                                                                            Victorian conservatories

Stevenswood Conservatories has installed over 700 top quality PVC-u and hardwood conservatories in and around Edinburgh since we started in 1996.

The best way to help decide on the style of conservatory to suit your home is to visit our stunning showsite at Riccarton Garden Centre in Currie (just of the by-pass next to Heriot-Watt University Campus). There are 5 conservatories on show, a light oak Victorian P-Shape conservatory, a white Victorian conservatory, a rosewood on white 5 facet Victorian conservatory, a white Edwardian conservatory and a heritage green on oak hardwood conservatory.

There are also many different features that you may wish to consider such as glass roofs, polycarbonate roofs, new Techsun inserts in polycarbonate, also varying dado wall heights, different window heights, stained glass designs, different internal dado wall finishes and cill finishes as well as floor coverings- It really is the place to start when considering a new conservatory!

There is also plenty of technical information on the latest innovations such as high insulation glass ( u-value of only 1.1), self-cleaning glass and heat-reflective glass, all highly relevant in the case of conservatories - particularly if you are thinking about a glass roof.

We also offer advice on air conditioning, blinds, roof sails and heating - in fact anything that can turn your new conservatory into a 365 days a year extension to your home!
